On Saturday, October 5, join electric vehicle (EV) owners, advocates, and industry stakeholders at events across the islands to celebrate National Drive Electric Week. The events provide a unique opportunity to test drive various EV models, engage with experts on cutting-edge technology, and understand the range of benefits of transitioning to electric vehicles.
Join us on October 5th for events across the islands:
Oahu: Pearlridge Center, 10am – 2pm
Hawai’i Island: Prince Kuhio Plaza, 10am-1pm
Kauai: Koloa Library, 9am – 12pm
Maui: University of Hawaiʻi Maui Campus Charging Station, 10am – 2pm
All events are free and open to the public. Attendees will:
- See the latest EV technology and selected models firsthand
- Participate in test ride and drives (subject to availability)
- Learn about the lifestyle and practical benefits of EV from current owners
- Gain insights into the environmental benefits and savings of electric transportation, including cars and e-bikes
- Get updated information about tax incentives and rebates for new and used EVs, electric bikes, EV chargers, and renewable energy systems
